Solution Provider · BuddyWorkers
Gaëtan Wittebolle is a Bordeaux-based freelancer, former EY consultant. He left the corporate world to build his own solutions: BuddyWorkers, a freelance community and purpose-driven company, and two SaaS products developed with AI based on real client needs.
I joined the adventure on a work-study contract in September 2025: build his complete personal brand identity, deploy it across five platforms and produce a constant flow of video content. Gaëtan becomes the brand. BuddyWorkers, his first product.
Three directions explored before deciding: Fully Friendly, Tech Sharp & Minimalism, Literal Green. Looking for Gaëtan's character, credibility and authenticity all at once.
Five colors, three typefaces, one system. Orange as CTA and energy. Violet as premium background and authority. Cream for breathing room. Clash Display for headings, Owner Text for body, Mattonne for the logo signature.
Main logo, Umami variation for the newsletter, custom icon system. Everything works on light background, dark background, as favicon, as avatar.
Selection of profile and lifestyle photos. Sharp, direct, grounded. Gaëtan facing the camera, in his workspace, in action.
"Get service as a software" banner, optimized profile photo, carousel guidelines for Lead Magnet posts, Newsletter and website visuals.
Two types of content, two thumbnail templates: "Expertise" for strategic content, "Soul" for more personal content.
Consistent feed with the brand guidelines. Reels repurposed from YouTube. Editorial carousels alternating cream/violet. Weekly "Squeeze" Stories.
Gaëtan's email asset, under the "Umami" identity. Banner, profile, recurring template. A ritual, not just another publication.
We document everything. This vlog shows the complete process: from the first creative directions to platform deployment. This is where you see how Gaëtan's brand was truly built.
Three shorts per week, extracted from YouTube vlogs and reworked for short-form. A reproducible production system, week after week.
This project has been my daily work since September 2025. What I've learned most from working with Gaëtan is the rigor of a brand process: start from strategy, build the identity, deploy across platforms, produce the content. Always in that order, never the other way around.
It's also the first time I've maintained a long-term production pace: 3x shorts per week, week after week. Not a sprint. An infrastructure. This project taught me that consistency is more valuable than occasional perfection.
What I take away: a solid personal brand isn't built in a few posts. It requires clear positioning, a consistent brand system, and a production workflow that holds up over time.
